Oxford Instruments Launches New Camera

Ultra high-performance camera designed for machine vision tasks such as quality control, chemical identification, life science applications.

Oxford Instruments recently launched a new ultra high-performance camera, the CB2 24B. This camera is equipped with a MP back-lit monochrome sCMOS global shutter sensor with 24.5 MPixel, 5328 x 4608 resolution, 2.74 µm pixel size and 19.3 mm sensor diagonal. It can achieve a frame rate of up to 161 fps with CXP 2x2 binning. The camera has a 177.5 x 93 x 77.5 mm footprint, weighs 1.1 kg, and can operate in temperatures as low as -40°C.

The camera is especially designed for such machine vision tasks as quality control and chemical identification, bioimaging and life science applications.
