JAI Adds New Cameras to Sweep Line

Cameras designed for machine vision applications, such as sorting and inspections, that require fine detail detection.

JAI has launched four new cameras in its Sweep Line Scan camera series, the SW-4005BL-CXP, SW-4005M-CXP, SW-4005BL-5GE, and SW-4005M-5GE.

These new cameras, which come in monochrome and color options, all have 4096, 4K resolution on 14.3 mm wide global shutter sensors with 3.5 µm x 3.5 µm pixel size. The color cameras can achieve scan rates of up to 42KHz, the monochrome cameras can achieve frame rates of up to 84kHz. The cameras have 5GigE and CoaXPress (CXP-6) interface options and all come with C-mount lens mount options.

These cameras are especially designed for machine vision applications that require precision and fine detail detection, including such tasks as battery inspection, food sorting, and recycling and waste sorting.
