SVS-Vistek is expanding its Mikrotron high speed camera series with the introduction of the EoSens9.5. The new camera features a Luxima 9.5 MPixel, 4096 x 2304 resolution, CMOS global shutter color sensor and a CXP-12 quad link interface that operates at a data transfer rate of 12.5 Gbps for each of its four lanes. It has 6.5 x 6.5µm pixel size and can capture up to 509 images per second in the 4096 x 2304 format. The camera can achieve faster frame rates through X,Y windowing. For example, a 128 x 24 resolution can achieve a frame rate of 225,000 fps.

The EoSens9.5 is designed for a variety of machine vision applications that require high speed imaging in sectors such as additive manufacturing, melt pool monitoring, grinding and milling, and electronics inspections.
