BitFlow Launches Copper-to-Fiber Module

Module especially designed for machine vision applications that require CXP cameras to be positioned long distances away from host computers.
Jan. 24, 2025

BitFlow recently launched its first copper-to fiber module, the BitFlow QFI. The module, designed to enable long distance data transmission between a CoaXPress interface camera and a host computer, can enable link speeds  up to 10 Gbps over lengths of more than one kilometer. The QFI supplies up to 13 watts of power to a connected CXP camera, which means it doesn’t need a separate power source, and it is compatible with CXP-1 to CXP-12 cameras. It does not need software or programming. It can automatically switch CoaXPress speeds to match the camera to which it is connected.

These modules are especially designed for machine vision applications that require cameras to be positioned long distances away from their host computers.
