3D Laser Line Sensor Introduced

The sensor is designed for in-line 3D measurement and inspection applications.
March 9, 2023
Teledyne DALSA introduced Z-Trak LP2C, 3D laser profile sensors with IP67 housing for harsh environments. Designed for in-line 3D measurement and inspection applications, the 4K sensors deliver 4,096 samples per profile and an x resolution down to 3.5 µm. Other features: red and blue eye-safe lasers, built-in reflection compensation algorithms, multi-sensor synchronization, 3rd party software support for 3D image processing, bundled Teledyne DALSA software, factory calibrated real-time measurements in real-world units, and unified measurement space for 360° in-line inspection and measurements. The sensors are suitable for applications in inspection, factory automation, robotics, and logistics. Z-TrakLP2C models are available for measurement ranges of up to 650 mm and have a horizontal FOV of up to 1200 mm.
