SWIR Vision Systems Announces Upcoming Sensor Launch

SWIR Vision Systems has announced the upcoming launch of the Acuros 6 SWIR image sensor. The sensor features a 6.3 MPixel global shutter, 7 µm pixel pitch, 25.84 mm image diagonal and 3072 x 2048-pixel resolution. It has a spectral range of 400-1700 nm (SWIR) and 400-2100 nm (ESWIR) and dynamic range of 68-63db. It is capable of up to 100 Hz fps and has a 12-bit digital output. It has a footprint of 36.6 x 33.3 x 7.125 mm and can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 85°C. Designed for a variety of machine vision applications across industry sectors such as automotive and defense, it is expected to be on the market by 2024.
