Teledyne e2v Launches New CMOS Sensors

Sensors designed for machine vision, inspection, robotics applications.

Teledyne e2v has launched the Emerald Gen 2 CMOS image sensor line. The sensors, which are 21 x 20 mm Ceramic Land Grid Array packages, are currently available in 8.9 MPixel or 12 MPixel resolution, monochrome or color, and standard or high speed grades. The sensors have 2.8 µm global shutter pixel, which can provide up to 67dB dynamic range and frame rate of up to 100 fps at 10 bits. All have a MIPI CS-1 and LVDS outputs. They are compatible with one inch C-mount optics. These sensors are especially designed for a variety of machine vision, inspection and sorting, pick and place tasks and intelligent transportation systems.
