At VISION 2016, Vincent Richard, Product Marketing Manager at e2v provided some information on the company’s new CMOS sensors, the Emerald family. Emerald CMOS image sensors, according to Richard, feature the world’s smallest global shutter pixel. These sensors are available in 8, 12, and 16 MPixel sizes and target applications such as machine vision and intelligent traffic systems and life sciences. In addition, Richard provided details on how the new CMOS sensors differentiate themselves from the competition.
