Teledyne Dalsa recently launched color options for its line of AxCIS high speed, high resolution fully integrated line scan imaging modules.

AxCIS is a line of Contact Imaging Sensors that combines sensors, lenses, and lights in one module. Equipped with Teledyne CMOS image sensors, the AxCIS RGB versions can deliver up to 60kHz x 3 line rates at a 28 µm pixel size or 900 dpi resolution. AxCIS can perform HDR imaging using dual exposure mode. It features a staggered design that enables a large FOV that does not miss any pixels, providing a 100% seamless image with no interpolation. It is available in 400 and 800 mm widths, as well as any other width in increments of 100 mm.

AxCIS has a Cameral Link HS SFP + Fiberoptic interface and is designed to fit in small spaces. Rated IP50, it is designed for machine vision applications in harsh industrial environments, including such tasks as battery and print inspection.
