Compact sensor designed for AI, AON-based vision applications, including facial recognition.
Dec. 4, 2024

OMNIVISION recently launched a new CMOS image sensor, the OV0TA1B. This is a low-power, compact footprint sensor that fits 3 mm module Y dimension and smaller notebook computers, webcams, and IoT devices. The OV0TA1B comes in monochrome or infrared. It has 440 x 360 resolution at 30 fps. It has a 2 µm pixel and modulation transfer function.

The sensor is especially designed for vision tasks such as AI-based human presence detection, facial authentication, and vision tasks that utilize AON technology. Currently available for sampling, the OV0TA1B will be in mass production in first quarter 2025.
