Sensor designed for machine vision tasks requiring capability to capture fast moving objects in low light conditions.
Feb. 26, 2025

Teledyne e2v has launched a new high speed near infrared sensor, the Lince5M NIR. The new monochrome CMOS global shutter sensor has 2560 x 2048, 5.2 MPixel resolution. It can achieve a frame rate of 250 fps at full resolution and up to 990 fps in HD (1280 x 1024) resolution and operates in visible, UV, and  NIR spectrums. It has a C-mount lens mount option and is housed in a 28 x 28 mm pin grid array ceramic package.

The Lince5M NIR is especially designed for machine vision tasks requiring the capability to capture fast moving objects in low light conditions, including motion capture, sorting, and industrial metrology applications.
