March 18, 2024

SVS-Vistek has launched two new short wave infrared (SWIR) cameras to its FXO Series of machine vision cameras, the fxo992 and fxo993. Both cameras, fxo992 and fxo993, are equipped with Sony InGaAs SWIR sensors, the IMX992 and IMX 993, respectively. The IMX 992 provides 5.2 MPixel resolution and 132.6 fps frame rate; the IMX993 provides 3.1 MPixel resolution and 173.4 fps frame rate. Both sensors have 3.45 μm  pixel size. Both cameras offer 10GigE or CPX-12 interface options, both use C-mount lens mount configurations, and both are equipped with integrated multichannel strobe controller. Both offer thermoelectric (TEC) cooling options.

The fxo992 and fxo993 are designed for machine vision applications, especially inspection applications, that require high-speed, high resolution SWIR imaging.
