New Imaging Technologies (NIT) launched the SenS 1920—a full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution @ 8 µm pixel pitch) SWIR (short wave infrared) camera.

The camera incorporates the company’s NSC2101 InGAas sensor, providing imaging in the 900 to 1700 nm wavelength range. It has a read-out noise of 25e- and dynamic range of 64dB.  The camera is compatible with USB 3.0 for data transfer and is designed for C-mount lenses.

Typical applications for the SenS 1920 include inspection of semiconductors, wafers, and solar panels in addition to operations in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

At less than 400 g in weight, it has dimensions of 58 X 58 X 70 mm.
