SpectraCAM XDR

Jan. 28, 2021

Scientific Grade Imaging System with Random Access, High Frame Rates, and Nondestructive Read Out.

Designed for applications requiring extremely high linear dynamic range, and/or adaptive exposure control.

The Thermo Scientific SpectraCAM XDR™ imaging system, SCM5821AXxBT uses unique random access integration techniques employing true random pixel addressability, Nondestructive Read Out (NDRO), and selective Region of Interest (ROI) clearing to provide high dynamic range images that may exceed 108 or 26-bits, allowing the user to interrogate dimly illuminated pixels in the presence of highly illuminated pixels. The SpectraCAM XDR employs Random Access Integration (RAI) algorithms, which automatically adjust the integration time from ROI to ROI based upon the experimentally observed photon-induced signal.

The purged SCM5821AXxBT is configured specifically for operation within ICP-OES echelle optical systems, while the sealed systems may be customized for most 2D imaging applications.
