Liquid Lenses are Integrated into a Wide Range of Lens Types
When the required depth-of-field range extends beyond the lens’s mechanically set focus point and depth-of-focus extremes, an Optotune-equipped focus-tunable liquid lens will change the lens’s focus point on command, providing highly repeatable remote focusing adjustment to 0.1 diopter.
Telecentric, standard, and high-magnification lenses are available with integrated focus-tunable liquid lenses. Focus-tunable lenses have no effect on the attached glass lens’s sharpness or light transmission capabilities within the visible wavelength range.
