NorPix Announces StreamPix CoaXPress Recording Station

High-speed recording station delivers long-time, uncompressed recording from CoaXPress cameras at up to 2.6 Gigabytes/second

Montreal January x, 2014 NorPix today announced StreamPix CoaXPress Recording Station. The system records from high speed CoaXPress cameras at up to 2.6 Gigabytes/second directly to disk and is ideal for applications that require long-time, uncompressed recording. It supports CoaXPress cameras from ISV, Imperx, JAI, PCO Edge, Mikrotron and Optronis, Viewworks and CoaXPress frame grabbers from Active Silicon, Bitflow, Matrox and Silicon Software.

Offering single and multiple camera recording and playback, StreamPix CoaXPress Recording Station is available as a desktop or compact desk system, a rackmount, or a portable lunch box unit. This workstation is compatible with StreamPix 6 and TroublePix digital video recording software.

StreamPix has a state-of-the-art user interface that lets users acquire, view and control from single or multiple cameras simultaneously. All images are individually time stamped using IRIG-B, while a thumbnail viewer permits fast scrolling and image searching using these time stamps. StreamPix also performs accurate real time Bayer rendering to allow live color image display while recording the raw image.

Designed for the factory floor, TroublePix lets operators acquire, view and review within a simple user interface, while features such as looping and pre/post-triggering are ideally suited to monitoring and troubleshooting applications.

StreamPix CoaXPress Recording Station is available now.
