Lanner Electronics upgrades processors in flagship network appliance line

Lanner Electronics’ four flagship network appliances, the NCA-6210, NCA-5710, NCA-5520, and FX-3230 models, are being upgraded to the 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Family Processors, that feature up to 28 cores per processor, Intel AVX-512 instructions, and Intel QuickAssist technology.

The four flagship models will now be able to support DDR4 memory up to 2933 MHz and Intel Optane DC persistent memory. The four network appliances offer options such as 1U and 2U form factors, single or dual socket CPUs, 4 or 8 NIC modules, and HDD expansion capability, depending on the specific model.

Lanner and Intel are collaborating to make the NCA-6210 model an Intel Select Solution for Visual Cloud Content Delivery, optimizing for AR/VR applications.
