Allied Vision is developing additional drivers for other NVIDIA products including Jetson AGX Xavier and Jetson Nano.

Allied Vision has released the Vimba MIPI CSI-2 driver, which supports NVIDIA’s Jetson TX2 system-on-module with Linux for Tegra. The new driver is available on Github and supports all of Allied Vision’s current and future Alvium cameras that have a MIPI CSI-2 interface.

The Alvium camera’s integrated image signal processor (ISP) can relieve the internal ISP of and therefore free resources on the Jetson TX2 board. Allied Vision is developing additional drivers for other NVIDIA products including Jetson AGX Xavier and Jetson Nano.

Allied Vision and partner Antmicro in July, 2019 announced a partnership to develop Alvium camera software for embedded Linux SoM from NVIDIA, NXP, Toradex, and Google.
