Embedded World 2020 preview

Speakers from 52 countries and more than 1,110 exhibitors will present to over 2,000 conference participants and 32,000 trade visitors from Feb 25-27.

The Embedded World 2020 trade fair, to be held from February 25 to February 27 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg in Nürnberg, Germany, will present the latest in embedded systems research and technology. Speakers from 52 countries and more than 1,110 exhibitors will present to over 2,000 conference participants and 32,000 trade visitors at the Embedded World Conference and Exhibition. The electronic displays Conference (edC) will take place concurrently during Embedded World 2020.

Embedded world Conference

Over 2,000 embedded systems developers, specialists, and project and product managers are expected to attend this year's embedded world Conference. More than 280 presentations will be offered at the conference, arranged into ten program tracks:

  • Internet of Things - Platforms & Applications
  • Connected Systems
  • Embedded OS
  • Safety & Security
  • Hardware Engineering
  • Software & Systems Engineering
  • Embedded Vision
  • Autonomous & Intelligent Services
  • Embedded Graphics & HMI

Classes that provide comprehensive, basic information on selected topics, delivered via condensed training courses, will also be offered at the conference. Available class topics include:

  • Embedded Linux and Android
  • FPGA design
  • Advanced C / C++ coding and debugging techniques

Keynote speaker Cypress Hassane El-Khoury will on February 25 deliver the keynote address, titled "How the IoT Will Drive the Convergence of Man and Machine."

Electronic displays Conference

This year's electronic displays Conference, held on February 26 and 27, will feature a special focus on automotive displays, new display technologies, and optimizations for various display applications.

Sessions will cover topics such as:

  • LCDs
  • Touch screens
  • Optical bonding
  • HDR technology

Keynote speakers will present on display trends and technologies, and LCDs and haptic feedback.
