Vision Components Launches New Industrial Camera Module

New industrial MIPI camera designed for embedded machine vision applications.

Vision Components has launched a new industrial MIPI camera module, the VC MIPI IMX900. Equipped with the Sony Starvis IMX900 CMOS global shutter sensor, the camera provides 3.2 MPixel, 2048 x 1536 resolution, a 2.25 µm pixel size, and a frame rate of 100 fps.  The camera operates in both monochrome and color and operates with trigger in/flash trigger output. It has a large imaging range and light sensitivity up to near infrared (NIR). With a sensor diagonal of 5.8 mm, the VC MIPI IMX900 is designed for flexible and easy integration and is especially designed for a variety of machine vision applications, such as barcode detection and quality assurance tasks.
