In a free webcast on August 24, the primary Caffe developers from the Berkeley Vision and Learning Center will present a webinar titled “A Brief Introduction to Deep Learning for Vision and the Caffe Framework,” that will provide an overview of deep learning and its use for computer vision, as well as the emergence of convolutional neural networks (CNN) as a powerful technique for vision tasks.
During the presentation, the Caffe open source framework for CNN development, training, and deployment will be introduced, which will enable registrants to deploy their own CNN project. Following the conclusion of the webcasts, a 15-minute question-and-answer period will be held. This webinar provides a look into a one-day hands-on tutorial that focuses on CNNs for vision and the Caffe framework, which will be presented by the same speakers on September 22, 2016 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
