Industrial Vision Systems relocates headquarters to accommodate expanding business
Vision system integrator and manufacturer Industrial Vision Systems has announced that it will relocate to a new, larger facility in order to meet the needs of its expanding business.
Over the past 16 years, the company has grown significantly, and as a result, has moved into a new 10,000 sq. ft. location (pictured) at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, which will enable the company to grow even further. In fact, the company expects year-on-year double digit growth in machine vision, robotics, and artificial intelligence over the next decade.
The new facility will feature state-of-the-art engineering offices, research and development areas, dedicated sales office and training rooms in addition to the production floor, breakout areas and administration. Additionally, the company has invested in new demonstration equipment including collaborative robots, automated inspection test rigs and vision inspection machinery demonstrations, all of which will be available to view in the company’s new demonstration facility.
"This signals the dawn of a new era for IVS," said Earl Yardley, Director of Industrial Vision Systems. "Over the past decade there has been significant global investment in automated systems within factories and we fully expect double digit growth in machine vision, robotics and artificial intelligence year on year on the manufacturing floor over the course of the next ten years. This relocation not only puts us in a position to expand further but it also means we can now provide better on-site R & D, training and support which enables us to recruit and retain the very best talent industry has to offer."
Furthermore, Industrial Vision Systems is expanding into the supply of dedicated inspection machines in key vertical markets that include automotive, medical devices, electronics, food and packaging. These machines have been designed for automated visual inspection, and growth and investment in this area will happen in tandem with the company’s machine vision system supply and integration, according to a press release.
