At XPONENTIAL 2017, Alpha Unmanned Systems will highlight the capabilities of its ALPHA 800 unmanned helicopter, which features IP64-rated electronics, a payload capacity of more than 6.5 lbs, a flight time of 2.5 hours, and a two-stroke gasoline engine. The ALPHA 800 offers up to 15 different imaging payload options, including various CCD and CMOS cameras, in addition to infrared cameras from FLIR and InfraTec, multispectral options from Tetracam, and LiDAR from Scout LiDAR. Some models offer up to 40 x optical zoom, high resolution, high frame rates, as well as a dual sensor options. The ALPHA 800 can take off and land autonomously, and is designed for various civil, military, and public service applications.
