At XPONENTIAL 2017, Sierra Olympic will highlight the Viento HD camera, which they are billing as the world’s first true HD infrared camera. This camera, which is now available with an IP67 environmental housing, was designed for users who require the maximum number of pixels available in a thermal, commercially-supported imaging system. The camera features a 1920 x 1200 uncooled Vanadium Oxide (VOx) microbolometer focal plane array with a 12 µm pixel size and is sensitive in the longwave infrared wavelength. The camera delivers 16-bit, full dynamic range digital data or digital data with automatic gain control and also features a USB interface, 30 fps frame rate, and thermal sensitivity at 30 mK NETD at F1.0. Additionally, the digital acquisition system includes a configured frame grabber for full-frame rate, full bit depth acquisition, and display.
