UAV with fixed wing and quadrotor hybrid design to be shown at XPONENTIAL
At XPONENTIAL 2017, Chengdu JOUAV will showcase its CW-10, a vertical takeoff and landingUAVwith a hybrid configuration of fixed wing and quadrotor. This UAV—which can be fitted with a cameraor vision system payload—is designed for aerial photography and inspection applications, including emergency surveillance, fire inspection, and agricultural imaging. Additionally, the UAV features a flight control and navigation system, an 8.5 ft. wingspan, a 2.2 – 4.4 lb. payload, a maximum altitude of nearly 3.3 miles, and can fly for up to 90 minutes at a cruising speed of approximately 44 mph and a maximum speed of 67 mph.
