Embedded computing capabilities from Elma Electronic to be highlighted at XPONENTIAL
At XPONENTIAL 2017, Elma Electronic will showcase an OpenVPX-based development-to-deployment platform for video acquisition conversion. Based on the open-source architecture, the system captures HD-SDI video, performs post processing, and subsequent real-time output of an HD-SDI video stream. The hardware includes a 4th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, GPU for video capture, and secure, removable storage. Elma works with customers to select a hardware combination that is suited to rugged imaging applications as used in many avionics, defense, UAV, ISR and other surveillance applications. Platforms can be packaged to withstand a range of rugged environments such as MIL-STD-810, and units are tested for the end environment, shipped ready for your imaging application.
