At the Neptec Technologies booth at XPONENTIAL 2017, the company will showcase its OPAL line of 3D LiDAR scanners, which feature the latest in laser optics (Class 1 Eye Safe lasers, 1550 nm), detection technologies (3D Time of Flight) and intelligent real-time 3D processing for applications including robotics and autonomous systems. The scanners obtain 300,000 points/s with a Risley prisms scanning mechanism, feature a range of up to 4,000 m, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 149°F. Featuring an integrated multi-core CPU with PoE and USB ports for GPS/INS and peripherals, the scanners operate with the 3DRi software development kit, a library of proprietary algorithms to extract data from the scanners in real-time.
