At the CEVAbooth at the Embedded Vision Summit 2018, the company will showcase its CEVA-XM6 computer vision and deep learning platform—a Gold Honoree in the 2018 Innovators Awards—which the company says helps designers to bring advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to embedded devices within the tight power and cost constraints under which the developers of these products operate.

The scalable, integrated hardware and software platform is a fifth-generation imaging and computer vision processor IP from CEVA, and includes the CEVA Deep Neural Network toolkit, which reportedly simplifies the development and deployment of deep learning systems for mass-market embedded devices. Additionally, the platform comes with hardware accelerators, software libraries, and a set of algorithms that support the development process.

CEVA will also be delivering a presentation on "Rapid development of efficient vision applications using the Halide language and CEVA processors."
