Basler Launches New Frame Grabber
Basler recently launched a new frame grabber, the imaFlex CXP-12 Quad. This is a programmable four-port CoaXPress frame grabber, capable of running up to four area scan or line scan cameras, with a Xilinx Ultrascale +KU3P processor and 1.5 GB of on board memory. It has CFA (Bayer), Grayscale, and RGB sensors with 32k or 64 k resolution (area scan) and 16k resolution (line scan). Basic processing features include Image Selector, Invert, LUT, Mirroring, Overflow Management, ROI, Tap Geometery Sorting, and White Balance.
The imaFlex CXP-12 Quad can support Linux 64-Bit and Windows 11/10 (64 Bit) and is compatible with GenTL-based MV-software. Application Programming Interfaces include .net interface, Frame grabber SDK, and GenTL.
The imaFlex CXP-12 Quad is 167.64 mm long x 111.15 mm high and weighs 274 g. It has an operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C and can operate in 5 5 to 90% non-condensing humidity. The frame grabber is especially designed for customized high performance machine vision tasks such as electronics and semiconductor inspections and factory automation applications.
