Neousys has launched a new waterproof computer designed for edge AI solutions, the NRU-230V-AWP. The new computer, powered by NVIDIA’s Jetson Orin platform, has up to 275 sparse TOPS AI inference and can transcode up to twenty-two 1080P video streams simultaneously. It has 32GB/64GB Low Power Double Data Rate RAM and 64GB embedded multimedia card storage. It has eight GMSL ports, four PoE + GbE, and one 10GbE port, as well as waterproof USB 3.2 + video and t2wo USB 2.0 ports, making it able to handle a variety of camera configurations, including industrial GigE or IP cameras, automative cameras, or industrial stereo cameras.
Internal interfaces include one full-size mini-PCI Express socket for WiFi 6 or CAN and an M.2 3042/3052 B Key for LTE/5G module with dual micro SIM support.
The computer, which comes with a standard wall mount bracket, has a footprint of 225 x 194 x 88.5 mm (without rubber feet) and weighs 4.4 kg. It is rated IP66 and is waterproof and dustproof. At 30W TPD mode, with full function, it has an operating temperature range of -25°C to 70°C and can operate in up to 90% non-condensing humidity. It is rated at MIL-STD 810H, Method 514.8, Category 4 for vibration, MIL-STD 810H, Method 516., Procedure I, for shock, and CE/FCC Class A for EMC.
The computer is especially designed for edge AI applications in harsh conditions, such as can be associated with roadside, food and chemical facorties, mining, construction, agriculture, and harbor environments.
