IMAGO Technologies recently added new sensor options for its line of Vision Cam XM2 smart cameras. These include a high resolution 12 MPixel model, which comes in monochrome and color CMOS shutter options and delivers a lower frame rate and a 5 MPixel model in monochrome or color options that also delivers a lower frame rate. These are especially designed for machine vision applications that require high resolution imaging at lower frame rates, such as in food and beverage inspections.

IMAGO has also added two new line scan cameras with 2560 pixels and 4096 pixels, which are especially designed for tasks such as textiles, metals, and packaging inspections on high speed surfaces.

The Vision Cam XM2 cameras are all capable of performing tasks such as defect detection, process optimization, and object recognition directly on camera.

All the camera models support Nvidia ORIN ARM/CPU, which enables high computing power and are designed for easy integration of Python, C++, and Halcon software platforms.
