2021 in Review: Embedded Vision

Embedded vision means different things to different people. At its simplest, it can be a vision system built with an embedded computer. But, it depends on the application. To some developers, the term embedded vision could apply to a rugged, expandable system that allows a variety of camera interfaces to be deployed using off-the-shelf software. Others might consider smart cameras to be embedded vision systems, and still others have alternative definitions. Regardless, embedded vision use continues to grow.
