Epson Robots has announced four new models in its LS series of SCARA robots, the LS3-B, LS6-B, LS10-B, and LS20-B models. The new robots feature lower cable duct profiles, built-in camera systems, batteryless encoders, new top-of-arm layout, and according to the manufacturer, faster cycle times.
The LS10-B and LS6-B models are available in ISO 4 Clean versions and offer integrated options including vision, fieldbus interface solutions, RC+ 7.0 API software, teach pendants, and customizable GUIs. The LS10-B can support up to a 10 kg payload and reach up to 600, 700, or 800 mm, depending on the specific model. The LS-B can support up to a 6 kg payload and reach up to 500, 600, or 700 mm.
