What a difference a year makes. At this time last year, I was at my first VISION show. One year later, if feels like I wasn’t away too long. Getting around has come back to me easily, and instead of meeting people for the first time, I’m bumping into people I met last year.

We spent a good part of this afternoon setting up the Vision Systems Design booth, and we are as ready as we’re going to be when things get rolling tomorrow at 9 AM.

All the exhibitors here in Stuttgart are putting the finishing touches on their booths. When I arrive at the show tomorrow morning, it will be a lot quieter than it was today, with the only sounds likely to be the murmurs of exhibitors going through last minute instructions, the air conditioning system, and a vacuum cleaner in places. But it won’t be long after the clock strikes 9 before the murmurs will turn into a steady hum of people and booth demos.

If you’re here, make sure you stop me if you see me. If you’re not here but want to get a taste of what’s happening, keep visiting https://www.vision-systems.com this week, and be sure to take a look at our preshow coverage, including: the VISION 2022 Product Preview, VISION 2022: Program At A Glance, Innovative Start-ups Take Off at VISION, and Vision 2022 Features Industrial VISION Days and the VISION Award.
