Here is a roundup of some recently-released imaging and machine vision products from some of the leading companies in the industry. New products include a machine vision system, laser line lenses, a Terahertz camera, GigE Vision cameras, and frame grabbers.
Machine vision system from Ajile Light Industries
Ajile Light Industries has developed a machine vision system, the Ajile system (pictured) which features industrial cameras, lighting drivers, structured light projectors, system management software, and a master controller with timing, triggering and smart processing.
Laser line PCX Cylinder Lenses from Edmund Optics
Featuring anti-reflective coatings for maximum transmission, TECHSPEC Laser Line PCX Cylinder Lenses from Edmund Optics are designed for applications that require light to be focused in only one direction, including light focused into a slit or line scan detector.
Terahertz camera from Terasense
Featuring a spectral range of 50GHz to 0.7 THz, the Terasense Terahertz (THz) camera targets applications that employ high-speed conveyor belts such as packaging, pharmaceutical inspection, and automotive inspection. The camera features a 256 x 1 THz detector that can achieve speeds up to 5 kHz (5,000 fps) and can scan at a speed of 15 meters/second, equivalent to 900 meters/minute.
GigE Vision cameras from SMARTEK
Featuring the Sony Pregius Exmor image sensors IMX250 (5.1 MPixel CMOS) and IMX252 (3.2 MPixel CMOS), the GCP2061 and GCP2046 GigE Vision cameras from SMARTEK Vision enable the image acquisition of fast moving objects and low-light and outdoor applications.
Frame grabbers from BitFlow with new GPU support
BitFlow has announced that its frame grabbers now support workstation graphics processor units (GPU) from both NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
