Available in three different models, the MX-U family of vision processors fromDatalogic is designed for inspection and manufacturing in such applications as pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and electronics. The entry-level MX-U20 supports two cameras and the mid-level MX-U40 supports four, while the high-end quad core MX-U80 delivers maximum processing speed to four cameras. The processors feature Intel multi-core chipsets, two (MX-U20 and MX-U40), or four (MX-U80) USB 3.0 ports to support camera image acquisition at high frame rates and resolution (2 MPixel or lower for MX-U20 and MX-U40, no limit for MX-U80.) For storage, the processors feature 4 or 8 GB DDR RAM, depending on the model. Datalogic’s graphical interface software is provided— which features drag and drop functionality—is provided with the processors.
