Smart camera and vision software from Matrox Imaging to be on display at The Vision Show 2016
Highlighted at the Matrox Imaging booth at The Vision Show in Boston from May 3-5 will be the company’s new Iris GTR smart camera (pictured), as well as its Matrox Imaging Library vision software, which has a number of new updates.
The Iris GTR camera features an ON Semiconductor PYTHON CMOS image sensor and is designed for systems integrators, machine builders and OEMs of factory automation solutions. The smart camera features IP67-reated housing, M12 connectors, and an Intel Celeron dual-core embedded processor and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 or Linux.
Updates to MIL will also be showcased, included Matrox SureDotOCR, the firstOCR technology specifically designed to overcome the challenges of reading dot-matrix text in vision inspection applications. In addition to SureDotOCR, other new tools in MIL 10 PP2 for Windows include a reliable ellipse finder, 3D cross-section extraction and analysis using the existing metrology tool and a barcode reader that works in more instances without adjusting default settings.
