The V2622 Flex-Lite vision inspection system from 2016 Innovators Award gold-level honoree METTLER TOLEDO CI-Vision allows manufacturers to implement a machine vision-based label and labeling control program using modular extended components.  

The V2622 Flex-Lite vision inspection system from 2016 Innovators Award gold-level honoree METTLER TOLEDO CI-Vision allows manufacturers to implement a machine vision-based label and labeling control program using modular extended components. The system can inspect labels for barcodes, allergy information, expiration dates, lot and batch numbers. The base configuration of the system includes a smart camera with liquid lens and patch panel, which installs on an existing control panel, or a smart camera and a drop-in control panel. The IP65-rated system features optional Inspection Manager software, which allows central control of the smart camera(s), which are equipped with LED indicators visually displaying camera status and I/O signals. Additionally, the vision inspection system features a PC with Windows 7 64-bit OS, GigE camera outputs, air/pusher/soft finger reject options, and an Intel multi-core processor.
