Vision Components to showcase VC nano 3D vision sensor at SPS IPC Drives 2013
The VC nano 3D from Vision Components is a freely configurable, intelligent 3D vision sensor containing asmart camera and a 5 mW line laser, which enables real-time 3D light section measurement at a rate of up to 400 Hz. The board-level camera within the unit is a 752 x 480 pixel VCSBC6210 nano RH, which features a 1/3" CMOS image sensor, and a frame rate of 55 fps. VC nano 3D vision sensors are designed for working distances between 80 and 200 mm, measuring ranges between 12 and 120 mm, and vertical resolutions between 5 and 50 µm. These sensors are suitable for use in automation environments, including measuring technology applications, robot guidance, completeness checks, weld inspection, and detection of codes on punched parts. VC nano 3D sensors will be featured at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Germany from November 26-28, 2013.
