Tapeswitch Corporation is now offering Sentek Solutions’ compact safety laser scanner, the UAM-02LP-T302, which is a programmable scanner for collision prevention, presence detection, and intrusion detection in industrial automation applications. It offers a wide detection zone at 190° and can be set to a maximum protection range of two meters and a maximum warning range of 10 meters, depending on the application. The scanner’s dimensions are 3 13/16“H x 3 9/16” W x 3 15/16” L with an IP65 housing and offers a single protection zone with 16 pattern combination and two warning zones (non-safety) for complex shaped environments. In addition, the laser scanner meets Category 3 SIL2 PLd Type 3 safety level performance, and offering TUV/SUD, CE, and cUL certification.
