System-on-a-chip CMOS sensor, model MT9V126 distributed by Framos (Pullach, Germany; www.framos.de), features VGA resolution and an NTSC/PAL output and shines with a high photosensitivity of <1 lux. The electronic image-processing of this system-on-a-chip can correct distortions of up to 25%--ideal for panorama lenses in automotive applications. Functionality for both perspective control and field-of-view selection and output is directly integrated into the MT9V126. The system features a total power consumption of less than 300 mW and allows dynamic superimposing of texts and/or diagrams onto a real-time video image.Aptina Imaging (Micron Imaging Division)
