Allied Vision

Expanding on its European sales organization, Allied Vision has appointed sales managers in France and the UK to support its long-time partner Stemmer Imaging. The new positions demonstrate Allied Vision’s commitment to the British and French markets, according to the company. Stemmer Imaging France and Stemmer Imaging UK remain Allied Vision’s official distributors.

“Our intention is not to substitute them but to gain a deeper insight of the local customers’ needs in order to deliver better solutions and services together with Stemmer Imaging”, explained Jochen Braun, Sales Director EMEA.

Euresys

Euresys has announced the appointment of Saber1 Technologies LLC and Motion Analysis, Inc. as North American distributors. Both companies currently have a focus on machine vision products and have more than 40 years combined experience in distributing machine vision components.

"Euresys’ line of frame grabbers are reasonably priced hardware solutions that just work—rivaled only by the extensive software offering that compliments Euresys’ products. It is a win for us to have such a great product line," said Shaun Saber, founder of Saber1 Technologies LLC.

Point Grey

Point Grey recently announced the hiring of its 200th employee, marking an important milestone in the company’s growth. While this announcement is not necessarily an “expansion” or hiring of new reps in other parts of the world, it is indicative of the fact that the company has had to continually add new employees to support its worldwide reach, as the Canada-based companies now has wholly owned subsidiaries in the US, Germany, Italy, China, and Japan.

"It has been an amazing journey to see our company grow over the years from a tiny office in 1997 to an international organization with offices, distributors, and customers located around the world," said Rod Barman, President and one of the original founders. "In 2013 we expanded our Canadian headquarters based in Richmond, British Columbia, to meet the growing demand for our extensive product portfolio worldwide and to lay the foundation for continued growth in the future."

Lumenera

Lumenera recently announced the appointment of a Sales Engineer and Sales Director, based in Germany, to better serve the growing machine vision market in Europe.

Having a Sales Engineer and Sales Director based in Germany, allows us to serve our customers in both the English and German language, and to gain deeper insight into local market needs in order to deliver superior pre- and post- sales support and services to our customers,” said Dany Longval, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Lumenera Corporation.
