Embedded vision comes to Boston
TheEmbedded Vision Alliance is to host an Embedded Vision Summit -- a technical educational forum for engineers interested in incorporating visual intelligence into embedded electronic systems and software -- at the Hynes Convention Center (Boston, MA, USA) on September 19 this year.
The Embedded Vision Summit is part of the Design East event, which comprises the Embedded Systems Conference Boston as well as the Android Summit, DesignMED, the LED Summit and Sensors in Design.
Special keynote speaker at the event will be Professor Rosalind Picard of theMIT Media Lab, who is the author of nearly two hundred scientific articles and chapters in multidimensional signal modeling, computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, human-computer interaction and affective computing.
Attendance at the Summit is free of charge to all qualified attendees, including engineers as well as invited press and analysts and Alliance Member company representatives. Others (such as students) will be admitted on a space-available basis. Space is limited, advanced registration is required, and early registration is recommended.
