The 2024 Salary & Career Survey will gather views from engineering leaders in manufacturing across a diverse group of brands at Endeavor Business Media, VSD’s parent company. In addition to Vision Systems Design, the survey is presented by Machine Design, Power & Motion, Electronic Design, Microwaves & RF, Laser Focus World, and Military & Aerospace Electronics.
The survey will take an in-depth look at salaries and compensation for engineers in general as well as for engineers focused on machine vision and imaging.
The survey covers other key topics as well including:
- The technologies impacting your designs—such as machine learning, sensor integration, and wireless networking—as well as the technologies that are expected to be disruptive in the future.
- The professional issues keeping engineers up at night such as documenting ROI, product quality issues, outsourcing issues, and the financial health of suppliers.
- The impact of AI/machine learning on the engineering profession.
- The state of multi-company collaboration.
