IMAGO Technologies recently announced new functionality for the standalone Industrial DashCam 1000.

With frame rates of up to 1,000 fps, the camera is designed to monitor machine operations in real time. The video helps users troubleshoot problems, plan predictive maintenance, and analyze machine operations remotely—all of which can help improve the reliability of automated systems. Users can set up various trigger modes to record video only when certain events occur, or they can record video continuously.

The updates to the camera allow users to:

  • Define time zones manually, ensuring that video recordings are accurately timestamped regardless of where the device is deployed. This allows multinational operations to receive synchronized, localized time stamps without dependency on external signals.
  • Connect to a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server, allowing the DashCam 1000 to automatically synchronize its internal clock, eliminating potential time drift.
