On Tuesday March 20, vision systems provider Cognex (Natick, MA, USA) will be hosting an on-line 30 minute webinar that will demonstrate how systems integrators can use OCRMax, the company's new Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool.

The company claims that the tool overcomes the limitations of other OCR technologies by taking on character variations, text skew, proportional fonts and variable string lengths.

During the presentation, Cognex' Product Marketing Managers Dirk Lipper and Narayan Subramaniam will describe how to identify the type of character reading and verification problems that OCRMax has been developed to address and show how it can be set up using the company's In-Sight or VisionPro software.

They will also familiarize viewers with the features of the tool to help them maximize its performance as well as explain how it can be put to use in real-life industry settings.

You can register for the webinar here.
