PixeLINK releases PL-E and PL-C series cameras
PRESS RELEASE
PixeLINK (Ottawa, ON, Canada) has released the PL-E530 series of machine vision cameras. The PL-E cameras are the smallest PixeLINK cameras to date. Despite their small footprint, these industrial cameras offer high performance at a low cost. The PL-E530 series is available in 1.3, 3.0 or 5.0 Megapixel versions and the cameras are connected via a Micro-B USB 2.0 data bus. The PL-E530 features Aptina colour and monochrome sensors which provide fast frame rates at full resolution. The sensor architecture for the PL-E cameras provides superior anti-blooming – making the PL-E cameras an excellent choice for imaging highly reflective objects or scenes with intense illumination. Application uses include, but are not limited to:
a.. security surveillance
b.. parts inspection
c.. meteorology
d.. high resolution document archiving
e.. PCB and flat panel inspection.

Boston Vision Show 2010
In late May, PixeLINK exhibited at Vision Show 2010 in Boston, MA. The show was extremely successful and allowed PixeLINK to showcase the newest editions to our product line and engage in a number of productive conversations with attendees.
Equipped with a new exhibit booth that features a fresh new look and feel, we displayed our much talked about Guitar Hero demo along with a new surprise demo that wowed the crowd. We also held a draw for an iPod and are proud to announce that Shirley Godin is now the owner of a brand new iPod Nano!
We are eager to carry the momentum from this event forward to the Stuttgart Vision 2010 Show and hope to see many of you there in November!
