Automation Doctor to provide services, redeployment of existing vision systems
JUNE 3, 2009--David Wyatt, veteran vision system integrator and entrepreneur, has founded Automation Doctor (Mishawaka, IN, USA; www.automation-doctor.com) to help manufacturing industries get the most out of existing hardware and systems. Wyatt says his company will assist manufacturers in cutting costs without cutting quality and spending new capital only when existing options have been exhausted.
Automation Doctor will focus on staff engineering services, product distribution, niche product development, FDA validation, simulation products, and new business instruments.
The company will have three subsidiaries: Vision System Doctor, Robot System Doctor, and Control System Doctor. Each will focus on deeply discounted automation services in their respective fields including system validation and the redeployment of existing systems.
Wyatt, chief operation officer of Automation Doctor, is a charter member of the Machine Vision Association, a past chairman of Machine Intelligence at Delco Electronics, and a past chairman of SME's machine-vision community. He founded Midwest Integration in 1988 and Southern Automation Co. in 1999. He also served as the staff engineer for Applied Manufacturing Technologies.
Franchise opportunities are now available in machine vision, robotics, and controls. Principle LLC members and supplier/sales partners are being sought and interviewed.
