Infrared product line acquired

Specializing in the design and production of high-performance infrared (IR) detectors and accessories, EG&G Judson (Montgomeryville, PA), an EG&G Optoelectronics company, has acquired the infrared-detector business of Graseby Infrared (Orlando, FL). The acquisition is expected to achieve efficiencies and economies of scale by combining staffs and manufacturing operations. After a transition period, all Graseby IR products will be manufactured in the Montgomeryville plant.
