HIPS, a set of image-processing modules developed at New York University, is maintained by Michael Landy ([email protected]). It runs under UNIX and includes programs for image arithmetic, filtering, convolution, Fourier and other transform processing, edge detection and line-drawing manipulation, and digital image- compression and transmission methods. From here, you can obtain more information about the package, view recent add-ons, and access the HIPS bulletin board.
